Visión Oblicua (Oblique Vision) 2020 - 2022

Esta serie nace del estudio de dibujos de Van Gogh a la pluma de caña, en los cuales los trazos van cobrando identidad propia y van definiendo no solo el paisaje que construyen sino también la dirección de la mirada del espectador, el recorrido y la velocidad de lectura de la obra. Después de meses de intentos por desarrollar un software que me diera esas posibilidades, escaneando los dibujos y aislando los trazos de Van Gogh, no lo logre. Probando otras alternativas encontré la posibilidad de mapear la luz con un ovalo lo que me permitió aproximarme desde otro lugar a lo que buscaba, una visión lumínica al paisaje.

This series is born from the study of Van Gogh's drawings using the cane pen, in which the strokes acquire their own identity and define not only the landscape they build but also the direction of the viewer's gaze, the path and speed of reading of the work After months of trying to develop a software that would give me those possibilities, trying differente approaches, scanning the drawings and isolating Van Gogh's strokes, I failed. Trying other alternatives, I found the possibility of mapping the light with an oval, which allowed me to approach what I was looking for from another perspective, a luminous vision of the landscape.
